what is intermittent fasting it is a fad and I'll tell you why it is fasting why do you need the word intermittent two why 168 no one's really questioned that why not 15 why not 15 and A2 why not 17 but you put everyone into a box of 168 we have patients who get fantastic results or better in 12 hours of fasting because that's what works for them our pro athletes our cricket players our soccer players they don't fast 14 16 18 hours they'll do 12 hours because they're already fit they can't break down more muscle they have to you have to do what Suits You

  1. No one said IF needs to be 16 hour fast. This guest comes across as a clown. I have been doing IF for over 3 years, mostly 20.4 and now ADF and never felt better in my life. Plantar fasciitis, sleep apnea, allergy, cold everything went away besides losing 25 kgs of weight and not calorie counting.

  2. Hey I started 45 days back at the age of 33 I got detected sugar my sugar levels were 211/344
    I started Intermittent fasting with diet
    Though I am taking tablets for sugar
    With this my routine even my doctor too surprised with results and now my sugar levels are 84/140 my doses become half and doctor has ensured to terminate tablet after observation of next 4 months
    I here shared because it's one of the emerging problems of young india if anybody has doubts do try and let's see how your body supports but for me it worked and I also took enough sleep with daily 10 k steps lost 3.3 kg in last 45 days

  3. 16:8 fasting is for those of us common people who can't workout or go to gym. Common people who are either office workers or housewives like us. The athletes don't need intermittent fasting they already are active, burn a lot of calories follow a strict diet.

  6. What was he angry about? The word "intermittent"? 😅 The word literally describes that you aren't in a box and not subject to the more popular 16:8… You choose your timing 😂 He needs to fast more maybe he will chill out 😂

    The 16 or 18 hours is proven scientifically to be the best least amount of time needed
