using your intuition place the crystals you have selected on the body at the chakra points all those areas that have been previously identified you may like to place a grounding crystal like tourmaline or smoky quartz at the feet just to anchor the energy of the person you're working with if at any time you feel inspired or compelled to place extra crystals remember to trust your intuition in this example we will be doing a general chakra layout starting with the base chakra hover your hand just above the crystal place there and imagine white light coming in through your crown chakra flowing down through your body through your arm and out of your palm so that your bathing this beautiful crystal in this white light energy hold the intention to clear and cleanse this chakra of all negative energy you can do this by simply imagining this beautiful white light which is universal energy or by repeating an affirmation such as this chakra is cleared and cleansed and full of positive vital life force energy if any thoughts come up simply observe them and let them go allowing your mind to come back to your intention hold this image for approximately five minutes or until intuitively you know it's time to move to the next chakra before moving imagine the white light forming into a ball of energy about the size of your fist and imagine that dissolving down into the base chakra repeat this process for all other six chacras if you are doing this layout on yourself instead of using your hands above your chacras simply imagine the light in your mind's eye Oh you you you you when you reach the crown chakra you can move to the top of the bed or the table and place both palms over the crown chakra and repeat the process this is a beautiful gift you have offered through your healing work and is such a rewarding and fulfilling feeling to be able to offer another as you complete the healing stay within that feeling of calmness and reverence honoring the person's energy you may wish to finish with an affirmation such as divine love and healing fills each chakra now the whole process should take approximately 35 to 40 minutes when complete allow the person you are working with to lay there for a further five minutes in relaxation and to allow their energy to settle when you feel it is time remove the crystals from their body and invite them to slowly open their eyes
