The Reason the Costa Ricans Live Longer than Other Blue Zones #shorts
why do the Costa Ricans live so long what is it specifically about them compared to the other blue zones for example the nicoyans a region of Costa Rica their life expectancy at 60 years old is seven times longer than the life expectancy of someone in Japan as 60 years old in Japan part of it is considered a Blue Zone too so what the heck well this particular region they eat a lot of chicken so they're eaing way more animal protein than a lot of the other blue zones which is pretty wild but there's other things too are huge on eating a big breakfast a medium-sized lunch and a very small dinner there was a study published in obesity reviews that look at this and they found that where you disperse your calories especially in the morning played a huge role in your overall weight loss the more calories people ate in the morning and the less calories they ate at night led to lower obesity and lower insulin resistance in a nutshell there Staples lots of chicken lots of black beans lots of plantains lots of guava and lots of hard water the water that they drink is very very mineral rich

The infant mortality rate in Costa Rica is over four times more than Japan. Weaker people are dying off early in life (think survival of the fittest). Which means a healthier genetic population reaches the age of 60 in Costa Rica.
This how short your videos should be .
Also worth noting that prostitution is legal there
And WAY LESS sweets,LESS stores or gas stations with SOOOOO MANY TEMPTATIONS
Did it not come out that the "blue zones" cheated their birth dates to get earlier pension or other benefits, or am I dreaming? The "oldest" person in my home country is a "123 year old" person that recently got citizenship & allegedly wanted earlier pension…
Tom looks more tired

Eating early in the day makes me insatiably hungry all day long and exhausted and I end up eating far more throughout the day and being far, far less active. I am always huge if I eat in the morning. I have to eat my first meal late in the day. My body hates breakfast and lunch and just shuts down.
nice
I think its the pura vida life style too
In that region, Nicoya, Vitamin D(sun exposure), manual labor, walking, family unity/social bonds, were said to all play a role. But most importantly, lack of stress. Most Costa Ricans could GAF. So those who could avoid a Western 9-5 lifestyle and avoid processed food, along with the other factors, could achieve this longevity. I imagine the number of centenarians is/will dwindle rapidly with current culture.
When i look in to your eyes you dont look healty why should someone lisent to you about healt😂😂😂😂😂😂
Kiedyś myślałem o długowieczności , ale porzuciłem Ją dla Wieczności
There's probably no MONSANTO'S down there.

Impressive information and statistics. Thank you.
Also its their slogan
I'd eat a huge breakfast, but I would end up doing nothing all day long. Light hunger keeps me motivated to do whatever it is I need to be doing.
Chicken skin has a lot of Spermidine in it as well, which aids longevity.
WTF. You told me the other day to FAST and not eat breakfast.
I don’t know if I’m coming or going.
As we've been approaching our '60s my wife and I have found by accident that this meal style works well for us. Especially with eating a very small meal in the evening, it's much easier to get to sleep. Problems with nighttime acid reflux went away with significantly smaller evening meals.
I've been thin my entire 56 years. I'm 6'6" & 175#"s. I eat mostly at night. I rarely eat breakfast.
Eat like a king for breakfast, a queen for lunch and a pauper for dinner
Whatever
Imo LOTS of great info here except the water part. To me the minerals we truly need come from food & are not the inorganic form in water. The kind that build up in pipes & unfortunately in our arteries & joints too.
I will 100% fall asleep after a big breakfast. I’m OMAD, but usually eat in the evening. I want to visit costa rica! What a gorgeous place!
A fitness club years ago named "Sports life" referred to that as king, prince, pauper.
You eat like a king at breakfast a prince at lunch, and a pauper at dinner.
My man, I love your channel and content! I’m actually from Costa Rica and have been to Guanacaste/Nicoya many times. I truly believe there’s so much more to the region’s longevity than just diet — lifestyle plays a huge role. People there spend a lot of time outdoors, stay active, walk regularly, and are often in the ocean. There’s also less EMF exposure and, most importantly, far less stress thanks to the simplicity of life.
Thanks for sharing — Pura Vida! ❤🇨🇷
If I ate like that in the morning I’d go back to bed 😂
And probably lots of movement
Add 5 seconds to the pitch clock and let pitchers use spider tack again
