(upbeat music) – So fascinating, yeah I wanna, because I have, in my notes here I've got crystals and a smiley face, right, in my notes here. – Yeah. – And I just want to tell you a brief story and then I'd love to hear your thoughts on this because a good mate of mine has a good mate. So someday I worked with Matt, his good friend works in a crystal shop in Mullumbimby. Now, I don't know if you've been to this part of the world, Byron bay in Mullumbimby, but I think Mullumbimby is in Australia, I think you could live anywhere. And, and they have what's called the crystal chair. Okay, now the guy that opened the shop said he built the chair first. ‘Cause he always had crystals and he said, "The chair told me to then open a shop to put the chair in." So then he could then let people freely come in and there's this whole story behind it. So I go in and sit in this chair and there's all these crystals at different Meridian points and different energy centers. – Wow. – And all the rest of it. And I sat in this chair, David, and I know nothing about crystals, right? And after about 10 minutes, oh my God, my whole body was just vibrating. Part of my face just kind of fully relaxed. – It was like. – Wow. – One side of my face just completely let go, and I got off that thing, just go, what the hell was that? And I remember I went home, I had to have a sleep for about an hour and then I got up and I was just like, my God, I feel amazing. So I've always been curious. – Yeah, yeah. – So from your perspective, why is that in the book and what have you learned around that over the years? – Great. – ‘Cause I never thought I'd be talking about crystals. – Neither did I, actually, you know, I never imagined that in a book when I was trying to, you know, one of my main goals in the book was be really credible and make sure that the science is absolutely solid. And I thought lots of people are saying, "Could you do a chapter in crystals?" and I'm going, "I don't really know of any research." But then I uncovered an astonishing amount of how they work. Not medical studies on them because those haven't been done, but a heck of a lot of research on how they work, for example, I've got one here, just cause I had a feeling that you might ask me something on that. So that that's a clear, that's a setting crystal, but it's about like quartz in the sense that it's really, really clear. There's three distinct ways that, that crystals work. The first way is quartz crystal has a physical property called Diamagnetism. Now what diamagnetism means is, imagine if it's pouring down the rain and the rain's coming like straight. If I want to protect myself, I put an umbrella up and what the umbrella will do is it will deflect the path of the rain so that the rain then bends around me. Now, if some unfortunate soul was standing beside me, they'd get twice as much rain. ‘Cause the rain is gonna bounce off my umbrella and dump on them. So a diamagnetic substance does something very similar, but it's not the rain that's bending, it's the earth's magnetic field. So what that means is, the earth's magnetic field is bend around it and anything to the side is going to get a little bit more of it. So like a crystal, for example, the earth's magnetic field is coming down and it bends around it and so anything here gets a wee bit more of the earth's magnetic field. So in one, in one part of, there's three parts to the crustal chapter. In one part, I explored research that shows that increasing or decreasing the intensity of the us magnetic field accelerates or decelerates the growth rate of plants and even the amount of chlorophyll and iron uptake in plants. And there's that, the research and that's called Plant magneto reception. And there's a lot of interest in the science, the science of it because scientists know because we're more serious about space exploration than ever before. It's what are the consequences of transporting seeds, for example, or plants and our spacecraft that isn't subject to this magnetic field? Well, they still grow in the absence of the earth's magnetic field Well, even if we can find some nice soil on Mars, what will be the consequences when Mars magnetic field is significantly different from the earth's? So there's a lot of research on just tweaking, increasing, decreasing earth's magnetic field and it makes a huge difference to the growth rate, even biomass accumulation in a plant, huge growth. So, so my first approach in the chapter was to demonstrate that a diamagnetic substance by fiddling around with the earth's magnetic field intensity can have an effect. There's no, there's no research entry, I did a few experiments myself but there's no formal research entry, but I just pointed out that it can have. And therefore we can't just dismiss that the setting crystal, crystal chair, we can't just dismiss it 'cause if I, pseudoscience is dismissing something based on a belief without investigating the evidence yourself, not the stuff being dismissed is pseudoscience but pseudoscience itself is dismissing something based on a belief without taking the time to investigate it yourself. And so, I thought I'm taking the time here and I think that there's something, that is something in the, the physical property of crystals, that furthers the earth's magnetic field, perhaps, lots of crystals together at one point different types might generate quite an interesting tweak to the intensity of the earth's magnetic field so that we can actually feel it, you know, definitely, cause there's research at Caltech in America where they actually put people in an electromagnetic shielded room, they replicated the earth's magnetic field and then the rotated it and just rotated it the earth's magnetic field. So the line, instead of going that way, they were going up the way but normally you can't see it. So the rotated the field, inside this electromagnetical shielded cage. Do you know every single person's brainwaves abruptly changed, they couldn't feel anything, but their brainwaves abruptly changed. In other words, the brain was absolutely in sync with the local, the local earth's magnetic field, not just the intensity, but whether it was pointed in that direction or that direction. So there's a fascinating perception that shows we are, we are absolutely sensitive to the earth's magnetic field because we have, biology has evolved within the natural core inner fuel of the magnetic field. So, so I approached crystals in that way, but also in another way, like the clarity of a crystal. In a Buddhist tradition called Dzogchen, the clarity of a crystal is used as what's called the mental representation where the clarity represents mentally the state of clarity that one wishes to attain through the meditation and the spiritual practice. Now, in cognitive psychology any, if I may, if you have a mental representation of some way, then it helps you move towards something. So that's another line kind of made with crystals because of what they mean to us, because of what that represents the clarity, even it comes from the effort self, it's a mental representation and so because I have something, a representation to focus my attention on, it makes it easier to get clearer and state, if you hold or see a crystal, because it is clarity points you towards, that's the state I would like to attain. So there's, so I covered the section on, on mental representations and how and why the actually work. And then the last section of crystals was a color of psychology, like in terms of using crystals to agility and stuff like that and even just having them visible. The signs of color psychology shows and marketers use it all over the world, you know, to sell products, you know, for example, a short window with red in it encourages impulse buying, if you put light to blue lighting, it creates a calming effect and stuff. So I cited a lot of research in color psychology and seen, seen that crystals have a certain color because of what the color represents can actually cause behavioral change in people and even neurological change for. One study I sited, volunteers were given a cherry flavored drink. You know, a cherry flavor drink, but the scientists put a green dye in it. So, even though it was cherry flavored, it was colored bright green. You know 37% of people couldn't taste cherry and they swore that the flavor was lemon alone. In other words, the brain process the taste based on the color more than what it actually was itself. In other words, the color itself was changing the activity of the brain and flavor processing regions. And so I pointed out that crystals may have an effect on that basis as well because of their color and what the color represent to us and the psychic. – Wow, that's amazing, I did not expect you to say that. Like, that's phenomenal yeah. – I didn't expect to uncover all that kind of a set. When I started diving into it, I wasn't going to put a chapter in crystals, but then the more logical stuff like that I found, I thought that's an absolutely compelling, that's really, really fascinating. And it just seemed to fit in with the context of the book and because I answered the question that many people when I was writing this, I said ask me when people knew I was writing it, a lots of people, it's probably the most popular request for what could you cover in the book and I thought, isn't this interesting chapter on crystals. And I kept saying, well, you know, I don't know of any research. And it was only when I just started curiosity, I didn't Google signs of crystals, but I knew a little bit about some things, you know, because I'm doing, towards the end of a degree in mathematics and physics. I knew about diamagnetism and part of magnetism which is a instead of an umbrella, it's a funnel. But so I knew about what that is and then I knew about physical property, I knew about substances which have diamagnetic or part of magnetic activities, I knew about that. So I started out there just out of curiosity. – Cut it. (upbeat music)

Crystal got energy and magnétic field. Your whatches work with crystal. Put a lot of crystals In a Room and feel the Room with no crystal and the Room with crystals..huge difference. So we are affected by the energy and the magnetism of the crystals. Your intentions make the different bewteen healing or just a stone. Different stones different influences.. how ever crystal clear quartz it is the spiritual stone.
We use crystals in communication…why would that not exstend to the ability to amplify our conciousnes? We use crystals to store information….why is it such a far stretch to think that we can conect with cyristals?

that experiment you mentioned about them putting someone in a environment where they can control the magnetic field and switched it observing that our brain waves changed with it what would happen or what does happen to people that leave the earths field and what are the long-term effects of that?

For most of my life, I was a firm believer in the power of crystals. But as I hit thirty, curiosity got the better of me, and I spent the next 3 years diving into research, hoping to find any scientific backing for their effects. Fast forward to today, at 42, and despite my efforts, I’ve yet to uncover a single shred of credible evidence.

It's to do with Frequency. There are no mainstream studies done because it is free healing. Study frequencies and research Raymond Rife and Nikola Tesla to name just two and you will understand exactly why not only crystals but everything has a frequency at molecular and electromagnetic level. Frequency, Energy and Vibration is the answer to the existence of everything.
I don’t have any crystals but I do believe scientifically that they would work. Everything vibrates and gives off energy. If you hit a tuning fork, a tuning fork next to it will start vibrating if it’s at the same frequency. We’re capable of all frequencies so if we bring good energy and frequency near us, we will vibrate higher or lower. Such as being around positive or negative people will change your mood/energy. Everything vibrates and has frequency. Even a wooden table or fabric chair. So if these crystals are vibrating and giving off frequencies, they will change your resonance. Just like a pretty picture can raise your vibes, so can crystals. It’s not superstition, it’s not idolatry, God created them and maybe He created them for us to help us.
i picked up a blueberry off the table to eat it but it was my mates samsung galaxy ear bud it was black and shiny and round it kinda look like a blueberry i swalloed it will cristals heal it
I can say one thing, crystals do hold energy, but not necessarily good. Some absorb energy, the only two crystals that i would keep near are rose quartz and clear quartz, i slept holding different crystals on my left hand, and for most of them, i had nightmares, except for the rose quartz and clear quartz, they make very sharp noises, i know it sounds crazy for those who arent sensitive and havent experiences any of what i have, but thats all i know, i still dont know what else they can do, i came here because i am curious to see if theres some experiments done on them and tests that actually read something like energetic or sht like that, best regards

Diamagnetism in crystals do exist but the theta frequencies in the MID IR and FIR radiation is more noteworthy and gives us a greater clue behind the theory that crystals can respond to our thoughts

I'm a devoted buddhist and have been cultivating chakra energies for the past year. I think its important for the people trying discredit this to remember that these energies are REAL. The hindus and buddhists didnt just develop these systems based off a hunch. Its real and has helped many people spiritually awaken and heal. The crystals from my experience can help amplify and or move your kundalini around your body. So until these "logical materialists" have any experience in this domain how can we expect them to understand whats going on here. Some things are beyond human conceptual understanding and relying on that is such a hindrance to your own development. Been there done that.

very interesting!!!2 years ago I accidentally discovered that I can feel gemstones. not physically in my hand but the energy field around the stone I feel it on my entire body. I have to concentrate well and create a quiet place and really make contact with the stone. I can also notice very well when the stone has been processed. That's how I found out that shells . and fossil contain the same field. The orgonite also has a very strong field. I have always been interested in stones, but I never really believed in their healing effect. but now that I can feel them I look at them very differently. I can also prove that I feel them. When you talk to people about it, you immediately notice that people look at you differently. but take 3 empty boxes, put a stone in one and I can tell you which box it is in. I believe that anyone can do it. It is a kind of meditation. If I want to feel the stone better, I turn off the WiFi, which helps enormously and if I take a second stone, I feel how the 2 energies collide with each other and the field around me is fully connected. all very special!! I wonder if there are more people who feel this so strongly.
