you ever feel misunderstood or even worse not heard or ignored if so it's a natural human desire to make our points not only heard but listened to and discussed as this inherently deepens our irresistible need for connection and thus our feeling of belonging this also means we've generally desire to steer clear of perceived unhelpful conflict and leave conversations feeling content or fulfilled however sometimes interactions don't proceed as smoothly as you want or imagine making relationships difficult territory to maneuver in this video we want to talk about the five reasons why boundaries are important and how to set them if you're someone dealing with this scenario whether at school home or work we hope that you can utilize these methods to set healthy or at least healthier boundaries for yourself one your emotional health is linked to boundary setting setting healthy boundaries has a direct influence on your emotional health there tends to be a better feeling of control and comfort when you know who you are how you want to be treated and what you won't tolerate clarity of these aspects helps protect your emotions and helps you stay in control of how you feel people however can be unpredictable and even the best thought-out interactions don't always unfold as so giving yourself a back-up plan or outline of how to respond should an interaction go awry is important to maintaining that clarity and control of your situation this maintenance will help you feel calmer more confident and protects your self-esteem when situations with others become difficult – you deserve to be heard and understood you are the master of you and thus can allow yourself to feel whatever you feel regardless of outside input you matter your feelings and emotions matter you deserve to be loved and understood we have the desire for others to understand us or at least acknowledge our perspective due to that wired need to be loved and to belong this desire is intensified when the person is someone we care about according to sex central healthy boundaries don't always have the same optimal delivery methods for some it depends on clear-cut dialogue for others being direct is important being specific or direct about how we feel is key this includes sharing our feelings even if we think the other person won't fully understand it includes standing up for ourselves these actions enable us to take part in open active communication which fosters deeper understanding and a healthier bond 3 sometimes situations call for assertiveness when someone's being pushy or even aggressive it's hard to apply the standards you set based on your boundaries but assaults – boundaries threaten the style things like ridicule contempt judgment and forcefulness are harmful to our emotional well-being you deserve respect this is what assertiveness comes into play it doesn't mean meeting aggression with aggression instead it means setting healthy boundaries and saying no when you want to and sticking to your strongly held beliefs and acting in a way that is in your best interest you shouldn't have to always adjust to others your emotional well-being is important or it allows for growth of self-awareness setting boundaries requires you to know what you truly want you may have to do some soul-searching to figure that out soul-searching allows us to know ourselves better in the end boundaries also allow you to realize that you alone are responsible for your own happiness no one can mine read or des what you truly desire with complete accuracy an example is a situation where you want some space you can calmly express that in words to the other person who expects someone to just know without adequate communication is unreasonable understanding your boundaries will lead to understanding that you need to communicate or ask for what you want and need five when you're able to communicate your wants and needs appropriately your relationships with others flourish for example partners who are open and honest with each other have a better understanding between them they know better would have sets their partner and where their limits lie this enabled a happier coexistence all around the website break the cycle posits that setting healthy boundaries and relationships allows both partners to feel comfortable and develop positive self-esteem furthermore with boundaries you grow to realize that you are whole and good in and of yourself while a partnership can be a positive enhancement you're capable of surviving without it no additional pieces needed maybe just wanted like a bonus establishing boundaries is overall conducive to healthy and sustainable coexistence with others maintaining positive relationships it's also an important part of staying mentally healthy if you struggle with interpersonal relationships whether they be with your boss partner or your parents perhaps the situations can be rectified by examining your I'm setting some boundaries with toxic people it's not easy but I'd rather try to do things the right then to engage in conflict and B.S it's uncessessary and ridiculous If someone disrespects me then I'll just walk away cause ain't no body got time for that crap.
If I'm not liked ,loved or admired fine with me I don't care about noun of that only being respected is what I care about, the one person who did all this was named Jamal at my job he was a toxic fool and a ex supe visor of mine…he was passive aggressive like a psychopath he would be a bully put others down over dumb stuff an ridicule me on everything wrong even if I've made mistakes….I understand you gotta be tough on others to discipline them but picking on them and making them feel terrible is just playing evil including cracking jokes that aren't remotely funny like what the world…lets just say when he was picking with Me I got tired of it, he was lucky I didn't knock him out for treating me like I'm soft he was very lucky before God removed him from my life….although he was teaching discipline to act right and act mature but his ways was too much one minute he's polite the next moment he's all crazy ,vicous an mean like dr jackell and Mr Hyde all in one that was horrifying battle me and him had back then before it was over…I would tried telling my other supervisor charelle about his behavior but he was smart but very manipulative he'd lie his ways out of stuff just to twist your words so since he was so dangerous in the head I had to work fast to get away from as much as possible ,cause he'd stalk others even pin others each other only to start confusion.

You guys are very clear cut and well-knowledge in your crafts. You probably had no idea how you had saved my life both the first time and the second time. The first time I was suicidal because my own family abused me through and through and it was cruel. But I did get help from therapy in real life and felt heard and seen by you, an online new channel, lol. So I survived teenhood. The second time tho is very recently, I had become an adult. I had encounter my country wars stories, another countries invaded on mine, and another countries invaded on another countries themselves. I read facts about how the world was founded and how it had developted to be what it is today, and why I am living in such a terrible societies. How the economics was probably found and now is working…? (If you can called it working hehe.) and in the last how the money works. I had… concluded that my life was born to be a worker, raise to be a great worker, and will die serving my master and some newborns will be assign to studying to be in my place when I was gone. And it will be forever as it was 423 years ago. The grief is huge this time as I felt lied to and betray by all the adults around me. So I intended to commit suicidal. As I refused to join how the world currently runs anymore. But I cannot intended to. As I have already made new friends and established a lot of beautiful friendships along my journey. So here I am, forgiving all the adults person around me and intended to taking care of them as before, I forgive you, and to the world that has so many many very problems onto it, I will not take advantage of someone whom already working to make it a better place and rest by waiting until it has become more beautiful so I can live on comfortably, I hate this way that I am doing this but this feels very me by doing it, lol, I probably and pretty much hating myself for unable to take advantage of others, it Makes me gloomy! but I guessed I will have to put in the work uncomfortably, my work. This video is highly recommend for students transiting from high school to collage or university. I was betrayed by my roommates who first promised to cooperate with me in house chores like cleaning the dishes and rooms also splitting money for groceries and shopping items, few months into this commitment turned downgrading for me as I used to take up some of their work to less burden them during my free time, they took this advantage to excel in achieving various things. As my mid-terms were approaching, I lagged behind in some topics included in my course term and I humbly requested them to take up some of my work and soon enough everyone rejected me. I couldn't blame them but this came as a lesson to me, I ended up failing my math course which I had to retake during my summer break
I grew up ⬆️ being a pretty pleaser because my mother manipulated me too do and be the way she thought 💭 I should be and to do things for her selfish needed without giving me a choice. When I became a young adult I started saying no and putting my foot down. And she labels me difficult and manipulate other people not to like me either. 🤷🏽♀️ judt awful
