9 Natural Anti-Aging Tips To Get Clear & Glowing Skin
I get asked about anti-aging all the time. “Are there products to nix my wrinkles?” “What ingredient will make my skin glow again?” Here’s the thing: There’s no one-size-fits-all when it comes to visible signs of aging.
Everyone has a different “skin age.” Your skin’s age is largely dependent on your inner age. You can be blessed with genetically great skin, but if your insides are aging, you won’t have clear & glowing skin. That’s why you need to pay attention to these 10 tips. Most of my 10 natural anti-aging tips are about what we can do halt the ticking of the clock from the inside out. I’m a science nerd, and I’m a board-certified nutritionist. I need to know that my lifestyle and skincare choices have been proven to express my better genes! Your lifestyle choices can turn on or off the genes that can potentially keep you looking young. This might sound farfetched but think about it. If lifestyle choices can turn off and on the gene for diabetes or Alzheimer’s (which they can), why not for the deeper mechanisms of aging?

Thank you for all your research and dedication to helping us be more healthy in every way. I have a Q though. I have heard that Vit C serums go bad in a day or two because of being subject to air. Also, your one video with the girl who started Omere (?) in LA says Vit C is useless. Also she does not like any essential oils like rose. Your comments to address that please. How do you put the creams on. After you clean your face, do you put on the retinaol first then the vitamin c moisturizer and then your night cream or do you have to put night cream. Can you do this daily? I am 50 years old I want to keep my skin nice.

Hi Sophie, I've just watched this video, it maybe too late to see my comment as I've only just come across your channel. I'm definitely going to watch your other video's as you have really caught my attention listening to you. I will be 60 in November, I'm lucky as everyone tells me that I don't look my age so that's nice to know. I've always been interested in skincare and eating healthy, I'm not a Vegan or a Vegetarian I eat most things but myself and my husband eat a balanced diet & everything in moderation plus we drink loads of water. I just recently found you and have been enjoying many of your videos.I am on the same wavelength as you. I meditate, do yoga, make lotions and potions and eat Ayurvedically, having studied to become a health consultant last year. How interesting this was. Can I ask one thing – after long-time ill health, I'm VERY careful what I put on my skin – since it does absorb (and I now know that's within about 10 minutes). But retinol is always touted as the biggest improver and I get the science. As someone so 'green', what are your thoughts about INTERNAL effects?? Thank you.

@Diana’sTable (I couldn’t reply to your comment directly for some reason) Flax has more nutritional benefit than chia seeds. Flax has 15 times the lignans of chia, and thus has greater anti-cancer benefits, for example. Dr.Greger shows the conflicts of interest that appeared from studies that the chia seed companies used to promote their product: https://youtu.be/PfxrhimGIvg Not that chia seeds are bad at all, but flax is the better choice if you have to choose between the two.
Hi Sophie I had a question I know vitamin c is used in the am and retinol is used pm. How do you incorporate the rosehips oil ? This is wonderful I work full time and also have a husband who is not well and I broke my ankle in July and needed surgery ,slowly recovering and ready to take charge of getting healthy . About Vitamin C- I tried making it because I love DIYs but I don't like having to make it every couple of days so I've been buying it. I'm going to order this one. I use your DIY hand sanitizer all the time and many others but I'm going to buy the Vit C 🙂
