Cancer Prevention Programs from Mount Sinai
Cancer Education and Outreach programs are available at the The Tisch Cancer Institute at Mount Sinai.
During these programs we go over facts, myths and screening guidelines to encourage African Americans and Latinos to receive age-appropriate cancer screening and connect participants with providers who speak their language and are low cost or free regardless of the ability to pay and immigration status.. We also provide participants with take home literature and resource guides.
All of our programs are conducted 7 days a week and at times that are convenient to the community and are conducted in English or Spanish. If you are interested in having breast, cervical, or colorectal cancer prevention education programs delivered at your, church, organization or home, please contact us at 212-824-7802 or at clarissa.martinez@mssm.edu.
