today we're talking about healthy snacks the hook is who doesn't want to lose weight when eating french fries ice cream and potato chips the truth of the matter is is that as long as 80% of your food is single ingredient Foods we're talking things like salmon blueberries broccoli steak the things you traditionally think of as healthy food you have room for the other 20% to have Foods you enjoy particularly when they have excellent macros so when I say healthy snacks the food in front of me here this is not the foundation of a diet but to air as human forgiveness is divine none of us are eating perfect diets and the sooner you accept that the better off you will be in terms of having a sustainable diet I enjoy ice cream I enjoy soda I enjoy things like that and the reality is I don't know maybe but a handful of people in my life like cyborg level people that can go through life and not have foods that they enjoy and so that's what the healthy snack guide is about it's about talking about the other 20% and how even with that other 20% we can make better decisions because when it comes to things like ice cream it's so caloric it's very difficult to fit into a diet even if you're not trying to lose weight presently you're just trying to maintain your health having hog andas is possible it's just difficult and that's why there's products like yaso that we'll talk about today that really deliver on the macro front and keep the calories down low but what I want to talk about before we even get into this more is again just remember you are going to be eating out for dinner they are going to be cooking things with oil and butter and heating them to extreme temperatures you are going to have snack food from time to time and all these influencers that telling you oh I only eat Whole Foods all the time it's just not realistic and it's just not sustainable so for I myself I enjoy snacks and I have a complete guide that you can download it's 15 pages of actual content I believe it's 18 pages in total but it's 15 pages of just macro friend L snacks that are incredible and that's what we're going to be going into detail on today's YouTube about is me going through each page and kind of telling you what's on there and then if you want to download the rest all you need to do is provide a valid email and you'll receive the free healthy snack guide page number one on the healthy snack guide is protein bars but I want to start off with something a little bit more exciting so let's go straight to page 12 which is ice cream and on here there's six options but I want to talk about my favorite two which is yaso I've been talking about this thing this product forever uh it's a Greek Yogurt Bar it is 100 calories four grams of protein nowhere near passing the test but here's why I'm so fanatical so passionate about this product it really tastes like ice cream I mean this this thing really tastes like is it hogendas no but is it better than like a traditional like generic ice cream that you would find yes it's it's it's not quite Ben and Jerry's but it's like 90% there I'd say this is as good as most ice cream maybe you're not your top tier ones like those hogen do or those Ben and& Jerry's but it's as good as 90% of them and I can have a single ice cream bar for only 100 calories with four grams of protein and it tastes delicious I usually have one or two of these in my diet uh even when I'm on a cut because it just gives me something to look forward to at the end of the night Halo top by the way this is the number one selling brand of ice cream in America so just what that says about the trajectory that we're heading I love it because America 70% overweight so when I hear that people are looking for a lower calorie great tasting alternative it gives me hope Halo top this has been reformulated so if you tried Halo top like 3 four years ago try it again it's way better it tastes way more delicious um this is a high protein relatively it's 330 calories 18 grams of protein carton so it's not passing the test level protein but it's a high protein low calorie ice cream option and again some of these flavors taste spectacular and they really did a good job reformulating it they really did a good job reformulating it so that is two of the options I like for the ice cream page and then we'll go and let's go all the way from page one and we'll just go through this so on protein bar page so I really like bear Bell protein bars um these taste delicious I think they taste very comparable to a candy bar and the macros are stunning on it 200 calories 20 gram of protein pass to the test you just take the grams of protein add a zero behind it does it have that many calories or less this does while also having 3 G of fiber and I think for most people this is the protein bar of choice I like built bars a lot too you can also see that they're on my protein bar page I have six options for you I even have a uh vegan option for you but I wanted to give you some options with the protein bars next page is our protein powders we have human Improvement not the best tasting protein powder it's on there uh I just want to tell you that because we're under healthy snacks supposed to taste delicious I just love that it has celium Husk in it has fiber which is incredible but if I was going for just simply taste while being healthy remember it's all about macros um PE science amazing and Quest they taste delicious um again these are not the foundations people seem to be worried about protein powder I find it kind of a little hilarious because people will drink alcohol but then they're worried about protein powder or they'll go out to dinner but then they're worried about protein powder protein powder isn't the foundation of a diet but a lot of ways I see it like at training wheels um if you're learning to ride a bike you know if first you're going to fall over a lot and if you're learning to bring up the protein your diet increase your protein intake you're going to tip over a lot you're going to fail you're not going to hit your protein goals every day these are like your training wheels until you learn how to ride that bike use protein powder to help you a 50 uh gram scoop of weight protein Two Scoops 50 grams a day is really going to help you hit your protein tonal so it's a great option especially while you're learning how to get protein up in your diet I don't have protein powder every day not because it's bad not good it's because I've been a meat head since high school and at this point I'm a little over having protein shakes but it doesn't mean from time to time I don't and certainly when I get done at lifetime or I stop at Green Life I'll have a shake after I work out because they make them taste really delicious food always tastes better when somebody else is making it for you pre-made protein shakes uh Fair life for me is King uh these Fair life nutrition plans 150 calories 30 grams of protein obliterates the test tastes like chocolate milk absolutely phenomenal I have a whole separate video about pre-made shakes so I'm not going to spend a lot of time here these are isopure um I love the lemonade and the iced tea flavors these kind of taste like slushies not quite my thing but sometimes I'll sometimes I'll mess with like the blue raspberry it tastes good but I would really say iced tea and lemonade the ice appears on a hot summer day oh my God it's getting warm New York's starting to get warm right now so I I'm not going to be able to drink chocolate milk when it's 80° out I'd rather have something like lemonade or iced tea so the iso Piers amazing but again I have a full separate YouTube talking about my pre-made shakes so we're not going to spend a lot of time on this page but there are six options there for you again we're at high protein Dairy there are so many awesome Greek yogurt options out there um they're all good as again as long as they have 10 gram of protein for every 100 calories so if the thing says it has 15 gram of protein just add a zero to it and does it have 150 calories or less then it passes the test but two that I chickle like is chabani zero sugar because it's 60 calories 12 gram of protein passes the test and they just have really interesting flavors toasted coconut vanilla awesome they have this lemon mering pie I mean these are fun guys a key lime pie I I threw this in here because this really is what you think of when you think of a snack uh amazing option just remember all Greek yogurt is processed it's all processed food Greek yogurt doesn't come out of the udder of a cow having said that these are slightly more processed these aren't the foundation of a diet again but they can be part of it and definitely help you hit your Macros and that's the intention of all these These are macro friendly these are our healthy snacks oos triple zero uh the zero trip zero stands for no added sugar no artificial sweeteners and zero fat and I had one of these last night as you can tell oh my God they really are good I I hadn't had one in a minute and I was like man there's like little pieces of this is a mixed berry just like little pieces of fruit in there the texture you could put them in the freezer for like 30 minutes and pull them out and it really does taste like again you're like eating ice cream they're really delicious I can't speak highly enough about them again we have six high protein Dairy options for you on there protein snacks um you know who doesn't love cheese cabic makes these 50 calorie 6 gram of protein cheese sticks this is basically like a protein bar you have three of them 150 calories 18 g of protein pass to the test maybe you're not into protein bars you want something while you're on the go maybe you're watching your kids play soccer or you're running errands awesome take these with you it's a great option so those are some protein snack options we have five of those on there the next page page eight protein chips there are so many chips out on the market right now uh Atkins is on there uh legendary and Quest and I still think quest is King particularly when it comes to spicy flavors if you like spicy chips you will love these Quest chips I'm not kidding you they the uh chili lime tastes amazing they have these ghost ones that are incredible uh everybody I know really likes these loaded taco that tends to be the I think that's the number one reviewed from clientele they taste excellent and they definitely satiate and they are what I call GE they're good enough they are going to satisfy that chip craving that you're having for Savory I said who doesn't want a diet having french fries ice cream and chips we got our chips here we talked about our ice cream french fries there's two brands that I really like and the only reason that I particularly like these Brands is that there's minimal amount of dextrose just because that adds calories um and there's minimal amount of oil on it which also adds calories this is 100 calories 2 gam of protein 3 G of fiber for an 80 g serving I either like these proper fries uh you can get these at Walmart you can get these at Whole Food um or I like Alexa smart fries and particularly the smart fries these are great Brands I throw these in the air fryer these taste delicious guys they this is I said this is like 90% there with the chips I think this is like 100% there you will like these as much as traditional french fries they're unbelievable so I'm going to skip ahead we're going to move to our sweets page here and just go over a couple items just for time sake because again you can download this whole document just provide an email and you can get all 15 pages when it comes to sweets there are so many awesome options these don't necessarily have as strong macros as like a protein bar or things like this but these peanut butter cups they're definitely better than Reese's peanut butter cups in terms of macros 200 calories 11 gram of protein four gram of fiber and these taste exactly like a reesei peanut butter cup these are delicious I actually had one of them last night I don't think this thing will survive the day with me I don't typically buy them because I enjoy them a little too much however if you're looking for something that's going to give you some sense of fulfillment at the end of the night which is definitely going to help you stay on a diet you need things on a daily basis that you're looking forward to to be long-term successful at a diet and this is something I love another option on here is ollipop this has a lot of insoluble fiber in it these very good I mean this to me is completely comparable to a Diet Sprite excellent tasting high in fiber uh nine grabs of fiber in a can with 50 calories just make sure you don't have too much fiber because you will get a little bit gassy all right you might want to pop one of these open with dinner and you have some broccoli with it next thing your wife's telling you get out just be mindful of that but otherwise amazing love this super Innovative product and I love that it's taken off again when I go to a grocery store and I see protein bars are replacing candy bars at the checkout aisles when I go to the grocery store and this is in the cooling section and this is clearly selling I think thank God we're starting to head in the right direction because a whole again 70% of America's overweight this is living proof that products like this are being successful that people are starting to think and be open to change last item that we'll discuss for today is I want to talk about breakfast I want to highlight this company stacked um I have an affiliate code with them uh I don't do any sort of brand deals like super super limited I've done like a handful in my life um this is a small business owner I actually featured this randomly I went to a supplement store and uh talked about the product and they reached out to me and I actually shot a couple pieces of content with them it's stacked it's 230 calories 25 gram of protein 5 gram of fiber and I think it is the best tasting protein mix on the market and again you can make all sorts of things with it they even have a recipe guide that they have which I think is incredible offering a ton of options open up your mindset you want to think about the true science is consistency what can you do sustainably and even myself I walk around year round at 10% body fat uh I've been into fitness for a long time and I still need to be able to fulfill some of my cravings for ice cream chips and french fries and that's what this guide's about of course the foundation of your diet is eggs it's chicken it's asparagus it's grapefruit it's fruits vegetables lean protein but you need to be realistic about what you're capable of sustaining it's going to have to involve some sort of snack food and things that you look forward to every day and having two yassos at the end of the night it just lets me power through and for the rest of the day I'm completely on point guys thank you for Had to give this a thumbs down. You solely focus on macros and don't look at the ingredients at all. I wouldn't call these things healthy in a million years. The products that you recommend will keep you looking good but living a short life. People wonder how some people look so fit and healthy but still get cancer or a heart attack. This is how. Don't follow this guy if you actually want to be healthy. Unfortunately he doesn't know what healthy is. He's recommending things that will keep you from getting fat but will not keep you healthy. There is a difference.

I’m obsessed with Legendary rolls and pop tarts. They hit the macro target of 10g protein per 100cal and taste awesome warmed up. I travel for work and keep one of those with a packet of Ascent protein for at 45g P under 400cql breakfast on the go.
You’re right Yasso is amazing and best of all it doesn’t have the aftertaste like many of these products. The worst one I’ve tasted is Keto pint, it was horrible. I’ve been meaning to try Halo but ice cream is not high on my snack list. My issue with most of these products (especially protein powders and bars) is the excessive ingredients and processed ingredients. My body can’t handle regular protein powder (too much gas and bloating) so I have to get plant-based or pea protein and then I’m ok. I struggle with starch, I love starchy real foods like rice, potatoes, and sometimes pasta. I try to follow portion control but I get so hungry later, like acid-producing hunger and I can’t seem to combat this cycle…. help 😢
